Meet Your New Instructor – Alan Bulmer
Since 2010, I’ve been helping learners become confident, capable drivers with a focus on safety, skill, & independence. With over a decade of training experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge, patience, & professionalism to every lesson.
I am a Certificate IV qualified defensive driving instructor & specialise in manual driver training, giving students not just the ability to pass their driving assessment, but also the confidence to handle real-world driving situations safely.
Beyond offering learner driver training, I also:
Deliver the school-based RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) program
Conduct Defensive Driving Courses for drivers of all experience levels
Train & Assess new driving instructors for a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
My background in amateur motorsport has given me a deep understanding of vehicle control & performance, which I bring into my teaching to help students develop sharper skills & stronger road awareness. Combined with a calm, systematic step-by-step approach, I make sure every lesson is tailored to suit the learner’s pace - whether you’re a complete beginner or preparing for your driving assessment.
