Rightway and EzLicence: choosing driving lessons

If you are comparing Rightway and EzLicence, look at the instructor, lesson plan, booking support and conditions that matter to you. Ask practical questions before you book.

How the services work

Rightway Driving

You can compare local instructor profiles and book online, with a Gold Coast customer service team available to help with instructor selection, bookings and questions.

EzLicence

EzLicence describes its service as an online platform where learners can find, compare and book driving instructors. It also provides a support centre and published instructor policies.

See EzLicence’s description of its platform and its support centre for its current information.

Choose the instructor as well as the service

Read the instructor’s profile, vehicle details, lesson areas and customer feedback. Ask how they explain new skills, plan lessons and respond when a learner feels nervous.

Does the vehicle and transmission suit your needs?
Can you find regular times that work for you?
Can the instructor explain how your progress will be reviewed?

Look for a clear learning plan

Ask what the first lesson involves and how later lessons will build on it. Clear feedback helps you understand what to practise and what still needs attention.

If you change instructors, ask how you can share your learning goals and recent progress. The right number of lessons depends on the learner, rather than a promised timetable.

Check safety and support information

Read our child safety information and ask any provider about instructor accreditation, vehicle suitability and its complaints process.

EzLicence publishes a driving instructor code of conduct. Review each provider’s current conduct and complaints policies before choosing.

Know who can help when plans change

Before paying, check how bookings, cancellations and questions are handled, and read the applicable package conditions. Compare the current terms directly rather than relying on a general comparison.

At Rightway, you can contact our team for help selecting an instructor or managing a booking. Our focus is a practical lesson plan and safe driving skills that last beyond the test.

You can also compare Rightway’s driving lesson support.
