Thank you Derek for your advise and guidance. I am an overseas licence holder went to Derek for one hour lesson in southport and couple of lessons with other instrustors. He gave me all the instructions and the points I need to improve especially in a busy area like Southport. I could able to pass my test in first attempt. Derek was really cool and trying to comfort me during my nervous driving. I do not have words to thank Rightway team.
I highly recommend Derek as he was very calm, patient and had a great sense of humour with me!! He made me feel relaxed and comfortable in every drive, and picked up on small mistakes I made and explained each one to me.

Derek was fantastic. After my son had done plenty of practice with us, Derek stepped in for a couple of lessons, corrected mistakes and bad habits, and clearly explained why. His guidance helped my son pass his driving test on the first attempt. He was engaging, clear in his instructions, and focused on exactly what was needed to build confidence and get the job done. We’re very grateful for his support.

I had Derek for all my lessons and he’s an amazing instructor. He’s very good at calming nerves and has some funny stories to tell. If mistakes are made on the road he’s quick to correct and explains everything thoroughly in ways that are easy to remember which always settles nerves. I would highly recommend Derek as an instructor!!
Derek is a very good and patient driving insturctor, he was great at teaching me how to perform all of the tricky manoeuvres, and would be great at helping me fix any mistakes, I may have made in a calm and cool manner.
