Tim is amazing! I just moved to Australia and was driving on the other side of the road. It was a huge adjustment for me. I had zero confidence when I started and Tim helped me all throughout. Not only he prepared me for the test but he made sure that I become a safe driver, ready for real life driving in Australia. I struggled a lot but he was able to teach me not only technical stuff but also some defensive driving tips. I think I was very difficult to teach but Tim was extremely patient with me.

Also, the staff was always super helpful and friendly everytime I needed help with my bookings!

Tim is a very soft spoken and nice instructor. Additionally, he is also very friendly and patient, talking to you, and guiding you in addition to teaching. In my opinion, Tim not only teaches you how to pass your practical test but he also teaches you how to drive in the real world, being defensive and avoiding collisions with bad drivers. Tim has been an awesome instructor; not only in helping me through the driving test, but in becoming a safe driver in the future. I particularly liked his instruction regarding commentary driving- where hazards can be preemptively identified and accounted for. I also really liked how he taught mirror/shoulder checks to be an instinctual behaviour, rather than a procedural one. This ensures that the knowledge will stick much better and will not be lost in high-stress situations. Rightway has been great, and I would 11/10 recommend to anyone I know haha.

I had a really good experience with Rightway, I had booked my classes online and called up to book in my test day package; the booking process was simple and swift through both methods. I had Tim and Raj as driving instructors and they were fantastic! Both were very calm and very patient instructors who explained thoroughly why and how we do certain things and manoeuvres on the road. They both taught me some nifty little insights which I feel have made me a better driver, I found out about why the cat eyes on the road are different colours and I can confidently perform manoeuvres like a reverse parallel park and more. Because of them I feel confident in myself and my driving. The key is to listen to what they are telling you because both were a wealth of knowledge. If I hadn't done the test day package I feel like I would have had a few errors and possibly not passed on the first go, having a the 45min warm up with the instructor really really helped. Thank you both Raj and Tim for the great driving lessons!
