Booking your driving test - Queensland

Over the last week it has been great to see that driving tests are back in full swing. Our team has been busy doing as many test as we can to help clear those students who had cancelled tests. As QLD transport have changed access for us to book test we have implemented an interim process which has worked to get as many tests completed as possible.
We would also like to say thank you for students have moved their lessons to help other book in their test.
Follow this process for best results!
Test booking process
We have found with the current arrangements in place at TMR that the student should contact them in the first instance to book a suitable test spot that works for the student and the department. As soon as the booking confirmation has been issued we ask that the student emails the relevant information to info@rightwaydriving.com.au - no phone call is required. We are prioritising our call centre activity to book tests. We will book you in for your test day package and move lessons if required.

Who can currently book a driving test in Qld?
From Monday June 22 all customers who had previous bookings with TMR when they closed for COVID19 should be eligible for a driving test. Additionally if you have been approved fro a priority test then you can also book your test day service with us. Remember, please book your test time with TMR first and then email us the details. Most bookings do not need a phone call and we are able to process more bookings, more efficiently this way.

What if I did not have a previous booking with transport for my test?
If you did not have a previous booking with QLD transport which was made prior to March 30 then you are currently UNABLE to book a driving test unless you meet the Priority test requirements and have approval from QLD Transport. This is a government controlled process and we have no input, influence or ability to book you in for a test at this stage.
We expect that the next change in the booking process will be to allow all students to book their test and hopefully the online system will again be available for this process.
